QSW: Young Zhihao destined for South American Academy

Rising Chinese star Wang Zhihao has recently been linked to a move abroad to accelerate his soccer career. Today it was discovered that the young Qingdao native had been seen leaving a Spanish speaking tutors residence. This information in conjunction with the fact that one of many foreign scouts to visit the Chinese rising stars tournament comes from Atlético Medellin, his destination seems certain. Atlético Medellin is one of the premier academies in world soccer, and may have attracted young Zhihao as a location known for developing creative talent. When confronted about the incoming move to Colombia, the young midfielder seems rather surprised and only provided, “Please let me go home in peace, I do not wish to speak of such things.” The tight lipped talent has reportedly started seeing his Spanish language tutor starting this week, meaning his decision has likely been decided for days. There are several direct flights from both Beijing and Shanghai that run to Medellin bi-weekly. It is rumored that an academy from Europe was in close contention, but failed to win Zhihao’s signature. Qingdao Sports Weekly will continue to monitor young Zhihao, and is already in the works to arrange a contact to follow his progress from abroad.
