League Champions Today saw the conclusion of the first season in league history with matchday 10. We would like to congratulate
for their strong finish to the season, successfully holding off 
for the victory and the opportunity to raise the first ever SSL League Trophy. 
THE INAUGURAL SSL LEAGUE TROPHY
It has been a season of some ups and downs and we would like to thank all of the individuals that has helped get the league up and running and all players that has played for any of our 6 original teams. We are grateful that each and every one of you has taken the time to join us and hope you will be able to enjoy your time here for many seasons to come. Looking ahead to the next season we have more than 20 new prospects eager to join one of the current 8 teams in the league starting with the SSL Prospect Draft this weekend. We will announce the draft results by Sunday at the latest, depending on how quickly the draft concludes.
Expansion Draft Results Speaking of drafts, we actually already have the results from the S2 Expansion Draft that took place earlier today. Each expansion team has picked 9 players to be their first players and after this post, the selected players will be able to join their new teams. The results of the draft is as follows:

SSL Rebrand As some of you might have noticed, the league has received some new graphics courtesy of @Thunder39. This is all part of a bigger league rebrand that we are launching for the upcoming season.
For starters the SSL will have a new logo and color scheme. Keeping with the blue from the inaugural logo, with a slightly darker hue, the golden yellow is added to the palette, which is finished off with a clean white color.
The league will also see some actual trophies for the SSL Cup and the, now named, SSL Founders Shield.

Starting in S2 you will also see some new Matchday graphics that follow a similar theme.

I am really happy with how the graphics have been coming along. I think the new logo brings a more traditional football style crest to represent the league as we look forward to S2 and watching the league grow. I love hearing everyone's feedback so if you have something to mention about the league and its direction graphically, just shoot me a message on Discord!
Finally we are putting the final touches on the SSL Rulebook and are currently talking about some details with the team managers before implementing the new rulebook for S2.
