Marco Tentacles is looking forward to his second season in the Minor League team of North Shore United, working hard in the offseason to work on rounding out his game, the Canadian left back is looking to improve on his rookie season after being drafted by Reykjavik United 8th overall. With an average rating of 7.3 in his 14 appearances, the defender tallied 1 man of the match award, 1 goal, and 3 assists to go along with 14 chances created, 30 tackles won, and 43 interceptions. Tentacles is no stranger to making plays up and down the field, with the second highest kilometers traveled among all players in the league with 208.7km, second to only teammate Victoria Snooks. Tentacles has worked throughout the offseason to round out his game in the defensive end as well as overall fitness. Tentacles hopes to be able to make more concise passes and not get flustered in the defensive zone, taking the ball down field by either dribbling it down himself or dishing it to a midfielder or forward. One of Tentacles's weaknesses last season was getting beat on headers and worked on his explosiveness to clear the ball in those situations. Marco has a good feeling heading into this season, he has scored the first goal in the lone preseason game so far that saw North Shore put 10 up on Paris.
