Transfer Regulations
The following players are eligible for a once per career WSFC transfer:
- An outfield player that has not been rostered (including preliminary rosters) in the WSFC for a region
- A goalkeeper from a region with 2 or more non-Academy and non-retiring active status goalkeepers
Regional transfers are also regulated by the number of transfer slots, based on the number of active, non-retiring outfield players at the start of the season before the tournament takes place.
- 11 or fewer actives: 0 outfield slots out
- 12 - 14 actives: 1 outfield slots out
- 15 - 22 actives: 3 outfield slots out
- 23 - 33 actives: 5 outfield slots out
- 34 or more actives: 10 outfield slots out
Transfers are also regulated in that the same region cannot transfer more than 2 outfield players from the same region nor can they transfer in to more than 14 active players.
In the case of a region not being able to select a full squad after the transfer period has ended, there will be a period of emergency transfers of inactive players.
To apply for a transfer, the regional manager posts the transferred player as a reply to the current tournament transfer thread (when it is open) and the region the player is transferring to. The user of the player must then reply to the post with the new nationality (from the region's nation list) they are transferring to.
A member of the BoD will approve or reject the transfer and notify the user with a reply in the thread.
