The strange scouting conversation

So during my time being scouted I was reached out to by a ISFL member and while talking he showed me the teams tactics and when I saw it the scouting stopped and I was shocked at the tactics being used so after 30 mins of me looking at the players available and there secondary positions I made a basic tactic that should have elevated there play and hope that would translate to results

I will be looking at there game before my tactic and my game after using my tactic both games were against strong opposition the game before my tactic

This is a strange stat line because having 52% possessions and a xG lower than if you shot every time you got close to the 18 yard box doesn’t match up so it means wasted possession and a team trying to play like 2010s Barcelona while having the talent of a Sunday league team

The tactic I gave them is the basic one we all know and love the 4231 it’s simple ,effective and can create number advantage in both attack and defence with sheer numbers and the player available fit it well enough for it to make sense

Against an arguably stronger opposition my tactic was implemented

While the games were both losses my tactic added a whole .3 on to the xG and while that might not seems lot with 2 less shots than the game before it clearly shows there improvements and with tactically familiarity increasing week after week will increase performance and now the team has a clear cut tactic to find player to fill spots and develop it for themself if they can find someone with real tactical knowledge

There is no hate in post I really like the team I helped and maybe I can be a part of the team and maybe it will be locked in a room pulling together the perfect tactic to help those bozos win haha
