Millwall enters SSL Academy league
#1
With the S18 SSL Prospect Draft just having been concluded, a new crop of talents is eager to enter into the SSL Academy landscape as they prepare for the S19 Prospect Draft.

One of these players is Cameron Millwall, a defensive midfielder hailing from Germany. The 6'3" Cologne native has had stints with the youth setups of Bayer 04 Leverkusen and 1. FC Köln but failed to make a breakthrough with both Bundesliga clubs. He has now declared available for the SSL, with the German-based Schwarzwälder FV being a very attractive landing spot not situated too far away from home.

Millwall is a tenacious player who possesses a solid athletic foundation and the instincts needed to be a starting XI player at some point in the not too distant future. Coaches and scouts have praised his work rate as well as his willingness to sacrifice himself for the greater good of his team's success.

In a recent social media post, Millwall hinted that he's aware that it's going to take a lot of effort and determination to eventually make it as a pro. He's a long way away from being ready as a player to make an impact in the SSL world. One thing's for certain though: Cameron Millwall will work hard in order to achieve that dream.
