Port Royal matched up against Jakarta for Academy Matchday 3. Port Royal FC came into the day with a 1-1 record, while Jakarta was still looking for their first win.
Roger Roger got first touch of the ball as the visiting striker to commence the tilt. Port Royal wasted little time in scoring, doing so in the second minute! Phenom Xavius Kenderlin passed the ball, uncontested, to Bread Lasso from the left corner. Under pressure from three Jakarta defenders, Lasso put the ball in the perfect spot at the top of the box to a wide open Beckett Sinclair. Sinclair had miles of space and a running start to put a dart in the top left corner - post and in. 1-0 Port Royal.
A horrible turnover by Port Royal in the eighth minute from their own defensive area led to Jakarta's first goal of the match. Takeda Takahashi collected the loose turnover in the middle of the field, pressed in towards the defense and fired a rocket into the bottom left corner. Goalkeeper James Asprey had no chance. 1-1
In a close game through 18 minutes, Jakarta committed a penalty just outside the box. Sinclair took the chance, but sailed it high. I missed opportunity for Port Royal.
A cross by Blackwood V in the 20th minute gave Sam Albinson a perfect spot for a tap in on the backside. 2-1 Port Royal.
The match would not see another goal until the 50th minute, as superstar Kenderlin simply walks into the middle of the attacking area and deposits the ball in the bottom left of the net. Atrocious defending by Jakarta there. 3-1 Port Royal.
Competition flared in the 65th minute as Jakarta's Patterson tapped in the easiest goal of his life 4 feet outside the goal line. 3-2 Port Royal.
On Port Royal's fourth goal, Jakarta defensive players were having a barbeque:

Johnson was left all alone out wide, advanced, and sent a cross back into the center that would find itself in the net off the foot of Albinson. 4-2 Port Royal.
Port Royal's Pam Prince fired a rocket from outside the box in the first minute of extra time to make it 5-2 and put the match out of reach.
Jakarta was able to add another score in the 92nd minute to make it interesting, but too little too late.
Port Royal took the match in a thrilling win and Sam Albinson won man of the match. Great game all around by Port Royal FC!
