Expansion Managers

After receiving many great applications, the BoD has had to make a tough decision as we are only appointing two expansion managers for the upcoming season. We are encouraged by the fact that so many users took the time and effort to submit applications and hope that the applicants who were not appointed in this round keep the energy and interest for any other hiring post that comes up.

This announcement will only present the appointed expansion organizational managers and in the upcoming weeks they, alongside the BoD and graphics people, will work on their organization's Major and Minor league branding. Detailed announcements of these aspects will be up to the manager whenever they are ready for public view.

Timeline
The timeline for the next couple of weeks for the league as a whole will look as follows:

AC172 (current week)
Appointment of organizational managers

Expansion managers can start scouting the S20 prospects and will start discussing branding + finalizing locations.

AC174
Protection lists are due Saturday March 22nd at midnight Pacific. The BoD will then take the Sunday to check the validity of each list and publish the list for the expansion managers when approved. Each current organizational manager is assumed to have notified the players in their organization if they are protected or not by this time.

Expansion managers are allowed to reach out to the exposed players and begin scouting them for the Expansion Draft.

Final week of games.

The Expansion Draft is preliminary set to be held on March 30th internally in the League Discord and will be posted on the forum after its conclusion.

AC176
The preliminary start of the offline portion of the S20 Prospect Draft is Monday March 31st/Tuesday April 1st with the live show presenting the results of the draft to the public on Sunday April 6th. Exact time for the show will be announced at a later date.

I hope those who are reasonably disappointed in not being selected seek out an opportunity with the Beunos Aires and Athênai organization. It's definitely a different kind of project but one that desperately needs a leader to step up.
