LemonBluu Best XI - MD10

Welcome to LemonBluu’s Best XI, Match Day 10 edition! We didn’t have one last week because of some index things but that doesn’t mean we don’t have a Best XI from last week as well to share today.

We’ve got a huge shake-up in our Best XI, and lets see some players!

GK: Denis Mobek (Pablo Kawasaki)

Mobek’s drop from the LemonBluu Best XI has been greatly exaggerated, he’s back and better than ever. Kawasaki seems like the clear GK2 for the S20 gang, and this seems like the most stable group we’ve had for the Best XI series.

DEF: Tyranno Criminal, Jonny Foster, Trick Johnson, BigMac Johnson (Badrick Blackwood V, Stig Stampe, Cesare Pinkman)

As TPE differences grow with players going IA, we’re going to see way more consistency in the position groups, and so it looks like this Defence group is probably our gang as well!

MID: Marean Dohbra, Tony Delvecchio, Sam Albinson, Stefan Davidović, Dáibhí Barr (Thomas Jimotheus, Juozas Kupinas)

Our midfield remains offensively slanted, with loads of RAMs and CAMs but Dohbra is our mainstay who remains the undisputed top midfielder of the class. I’m surprised to see so much movement here in this midfielder group, but we’ve got a lot of good earners here, but even with 5 starting spots, I would expect some more consistency.

ST: Niklas Jørgensen (Predrag Dobrić)

Jørgensen has come up from the ST3 spot and taken the starting role! Dobrić takes the bench spot from Minjeong and this looks like a three way battle for the striker role!

I’ve also changed up the player valuation to more reflect what I think will be closer to our draft order for the SSL Entry Draft (I would like to make it known that this is not actually how I would rank people but I think it’s kind of interesting to see the range).

I'm so close to that number 1 striker spot I can taste it. I've been planning out my stats the best I could and getting traits that complement my playstyle. I probably won't be getting anywhere near the top of the value chart because holy shit those numbers but I want to at least crack the top 10. As it stands I'm the in 2nd place with most goals with Dohbra and Kenderlin sharing top spot. It will be tough to get above them but I've been improving my consistency.

Now with the season almost over and the draft coming soon, I've taken a look at the teams I could possibly join and many of them lack an active ST. So I have no doubt I'll get plenty of game time ASAP in the Minor league. This Academy season has been interesting definitely. It didn't go as hoped but few things often do. One thing that I do know is that I've proven myself as competent player and a valuable teammate both on and off the pitch.

It's funny. This whole season feels like it's been so long but there are years left for me if I'm dedicated enough. So in hindsight this will probably look like a flash. Here is to many seasons more!
