MD11 - Seoul Mythic at Inter London
#1
I've been slacking and tired so I'll be pretty short with this one

Seoul Mythic took on Inter London for MD11; here's what went down.

STARTING XI

GK: Twinkletoes
LB: Stain
CB: Tenderlion
CB: Primarus
RB: Bamford
DM: Walker
DM: Ahmed
LW: Panda
CAM: Zervas
RW: Varnson
ST: Qartista

RECAP:

The first big opportunity came in the 9th minute, Bamford taking a throw in deep into the attacking half on the right, hitting a one-two with Varnson before playing a ball into the box for Zervas, who passed it centrally to Ahmed who was sitting at the top of the box. Ahmed tried smashing the ball top bins on the first touch but narrowly hit it over the crossbar.

The next highlight was in the 22nd minute, where a good build up play took place. Primarus passed it along to Bamford on the right on the halfline, who sent it up into the center for Zervas. Zervas sent another first touch pass up to Varnson, who played a through ball into Qartista and from there a great bottom bins goal, giving Seoul the lead in a match that will help determine Seoul's fate. Overall great possession play and build up, starting from a goal kick once again and scoring from it, that's something Seoul has been producing every so often.

In the 40th minute a quick VAR check for a penalty turned out into nothing, Bamford cleanly slide tackling Inter London's supersub.

A cleared corner in the 56th taken by Ahmed was picked up by Panda, who dribbled it down to the goal line and cut it back to find Tenderlion. Tenderlion sent an absolute beauty of a cross into the middle, where Zervas scored from a header, a shot that the keeper arguably should have saved. There are good arguments for both side, saying that it's more of a reaction time save, but still, the header basically went through the keeper's gloves.

Stain played a not that great ball into the middle in the 64th minute, leading to giving away possession, and only a few passes later Inter London player Martin had shot a worldie into the top corner to make the score 2-1. Although Seoul tend to play out the back, sometimes stupid mistakes are made like these which cost Seoul very dearly. Not too many highlights after that the match ended, Seoul grabbing another away victory.

MYSTIC MOMENT

My Mystic Moment in the match was the 1st goal. Another great build up play from Seoul, starting from a goal kick and working their way up, not being too impatient, keeping the ball well, and their patience ended up helping them win the match.

MOTM

My MOTM was Tenderlion. Putting yet another defensive shift in and doing what he can, as well as putting in a beautiful cross, something very little people thought was in his locker. Tenderlion will probably continue to be an important figure for the reason of Seoul's season until he is called back up to parent club Catalunya.

NEXT MATCH?

Seoul Mythic take on AS Paris at home for MD12. AS Paris would have been a scary name a few matchdays earlier, but they have declined as of recent, their last match losing at home to CAIRO CITY 2-1, throwing away a 1-0 lead from an own goal in the 63rd minute and then the eventual winner in the 70th. Seoul can be wasteful in front of goal though, and AS Paris still aren't a bad side. My predictions: 4-3 win for Seoul.

Great write-up and it was really nice to see such a beautiful teamplay goal. This team looks really exciting and I only see us going up from here.
