That was a good listen!

It was interesting to hear the story of a football league before SSL. Being quite new to sim leagues, I was surprised that SSL seemed kinda young, considering it's for such a big sport.

One of my favourite things of SSL is also the fact that you are free to write/make a graphic/talk about whatever you want and it will give you all the TPE. I think it is better if you just let your community's creativity be unrestrained. It can create many new exciting things, such as the fun panini style sticker collection game that has been started by a few members of the league and something that hopefully will continue in the future as well.

As for position, I think the best philosophy is picking whatever position/build you think you will enjoy most. Managers always try to either make you fit in or to atleast find a compromise in some way. What matters is that everyone enjoys this experience at the end of the day.
