If it hurts, it's working.

Making the bed you sleep in, that is an old saying for having to deal with the consequences of your own actions. Sometimes even just the butterfly effect of your actions taking it's karma like effect rippling all the way back to you, but either way some things just come back like a nightmare boomerang.

"Relevance"  you might proclaim, "how does this make any difference in what update we have today?"

Excellent; glad your strapped in.

It's relevance is entirely composed of the hubris we had in thinking that the training we were doing was enough. We were wrong, and he (DP) came back from a game letting 4 goals by. We knew what we were in for Tuesday when he showed up, at least we thought we were. Funny turn of events, we went home. We didn't get 10 minutes in he just sluffed off and walked out of training. They (his cadre) came out a moment later excusing us for the day. With pay of course and they provided us a meal, as they always do. Sweet hearts left it in a to go box even, which is just honestly wonderful of them so complaining feels so classless. Rising above it though, we returned on Wednesday bright and ready of the work outs, and yeah you guessed it. To go boxes with a our names on them, little notes expressing thanks and dismissal for the day.

I have worked hundreds of hours in training, and never once have I ever encountered a pokemon that just got so hurt by a loss. He seems off and we will have to find a way to get him back on track once we return to work again. The week was given to us for all of us to recoup, visit with family and rest. They gave us a card in the to go box with 100$ for the rest of the week meals, and gave us access to the facility to train if we desired.

I poked my head in a couple times but only to get in my own reps for the day. Won't catch me passing up good training facilities for free. We'll give the week though I guess, and with hope Digglett can work his way out of this mighty messy bed he is in.
