Shanghai Marches into Final Week of League Play with Head Held High
#1
While Shanghai has found themselves at the bottom of the table for most of the season, the team is holding their heads high. While it can be tough for a new expansion team to find their footing, Shanghai has managed to begin the long and arduous process of growing a team from the ground up. Refining tactics, player positioning, player relationships, this season was always the first of many in a long process to mold the team into a true competitor. Even with a subpar record, the Dragons have much to hang their hat on! Plenty of games were close and showed the spark of competition that should help the Dragons as they get older and gain experience! Leaders have emerged, heroes have risen, changing each game as a new face or player comes in to make a big play or carry the momentum forward! And, who could forget the thrilling 20+ penalty show down with Tokyo S.C for a spot in the Cup semi-finals! As someone in the locker room for Shanghai, we always believed, and it's that belief that is going to keep us pushing forward as we march into next season. The Dragons lie in wait, and see their time with come!
