Dear League,
Why hello, darlings. This is the first of many diary logs for me as I log my journey through the SSL system.
After my days with the Manchester Roses concluded, I was assigned to the SSL academy, where I understood that the game and rules were different from the leagues I played in my native England.
The team I was assigned to is called Atletico Medellin, which the team is located in South America in a nation called Colombia. I have not traveled outside of Europe, and I'm not used to tropical climates, which makes my hair frizzy and hard to keep in line. Luckily, Spanish is my second language, so I can have decent-enough conversations with the locals.
As it turns out, I am adjusting rather quickly to the academic style of play, as my passing is at 87.5 percent, and I have found the back of the net twice in six shots on net. I am continuing to improve on my control in order to have a complete playstyle, in that most SSL managers desire, from what I hear.
When I'm not on the pitch, I often perform songs in clubs to entertain people, mainly in both English and Spanish, to keep the locals entertained.
I'm quite curious about how SSL scouts think of me, since I've heard rumors about that being at the games, but I haven't had the chance to speak with them yet.
I think that'll do. The next time you'll hear from me is when the draft comes around.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame
