Nikolai Ahmed, all-round midfielder for the Catalunya/Seoul organization, successfully made his 2nd debut for Catalunya in the Major Division. Nikolai made his first appearance for Catalunya in a pre-season friendly against recent champions Reykjavik United, featuring in the second half and securing a 1-1 draw. Although the plan was for him to stay with the Cata squad, Ahmed requested to be dropped back down to Seoul for his 3rd season with them, feeling as if he could develop better and help lift the rookies into a great first season.
Nikolai made his first league appearance for Catalunya in S20, starting at the CAM position against AC Romana. He played a full 90, receiving a 7.0 match rating (2nd highest for that match of the Cata players). Today, Nikolai made his 2nd debut in a Major Division league campaign, once again showing out against AC Romana and playing another full 90 in the DM position. Catalunya held out for a 4-2 loss, with Nikolai receiving a 6.9 match rating this time around. In S20, Nikolai was in the low 700 zone TPE wise, but this season Nikolai shows out with 948 TPE and by the end of the season will be in the 1000 mark.
