Extreme Home Makeover

On this episode of Extreme Home Makeover, we’re going to take a look at this new and improved Kaspars Kalinins, coming into his own as a true top prospect for the Liffeyside system.

When we’ve previously looked at this player, the first thing we noticed was that they were simply thinking too small, and they honestly, truly, did not have good bones. This would not, unfortunately, be a fixer-upper, but instead a complete teardown and rebuild.

When building a new player, or perhaps a home in this analogy, the first thing is to consider the bones. The physical structure and composition of the player upon which we can install our off-white paint and millennial farmhouse decor.

First and foremost, Kalinins learned to run. Fast, and hard as he likes to say. On top of that, we installed some hefty musculature and just a little bit of that springy, bouncy action.

Next on the list, is of course the flow, the design of the space withing the confines of the walls. This has to be a very productive space, a place where one can have an elite work rate, and can concentrate on their team’s vision, anticipating every next step that comes their way.

And of course to close it out, we need to tackle our final touches are built off of a series of strong first touches, that any dribbling and marking are handled, that people are able to pass between any space they need to with ease.
