Minors MD2 Review
#1
AS Paris Paris 4-1 RMP CS Rova Mpanjaka
Both teams came off a win in the first matchday, promising a good affair. Paris got an early goal through Fensterhausen, and not long after, a big mistake by Hughes Galloway led to a chance that Belmont was able to finish. Before half-time, CS Rova earned a penalty and reduced the lead by one. The second half was mostly uneventful until two goals in the last ten minutes completed a hat-trick for Belmont. Paris were in control for most of the game and took a well-deserved three points.

AF Masques Sacrés MSD 4-2 Magyar Rapid Magyar
A back-and-forth affair where Magyar managed to get ahead twice — first with the 1–0 and later with the 2–1. However, Masques Sacrés kept managing to equalise and eventually got in front, putting the game to bed in the final minutes to make it 4–2. Benjamin Munro played a leading role, scoring a hat-trick.

Cairo City CFC 2-1 Krung Thep Krung Thep
Cairo City go into almost every match as underdogs, and this was no different. Krung Thep were coming off a strong victory in their first match and took a deserved lead as they controlled most of the game. However, before half-time, Cairo managed to level the score. Against the run of play, Cairo took the lead in the 70th minute and held on thanks to their goalkeeper Johnny Crying, who ended the match with an 8.6 rating. A great win for Cairo and a real moment of validation for Connor “Luxury Pick” Reed.

Montreal United MTL 3-3 NSU North Shore United
North Shore continued their good form by going 2–0 up in the first half and extending it to 3–0 in the 60th minute. However, a goal in the 70th minute from Montreal completely changed the momentum, as they went on to find a second and a third. In the Minors this season, it seems that a three-goal lead is the most dangerous lead of all.

Athenai FC AFC 2-3 ILFC Inter London
An uneventful first half led into a true nail-biter. Inter London quickly gained a two-goal lead, only to see it vanish within five minutes. The spectacle was completed when London scored the winning goal late in the game, securing all three points. Whatever happens, London know how to put on an entertaining match.

Seoul Mythic FC SEO 3-3 KAP FC Kaapstad
Once again, we saw a team start off very confidently, with Kaapstad scoring two goals in the first half and adding a third only 53 minutes in. Ironically, an injury for Seoul became the spark they needed, as Kim Heung-Min had to leave the field for Seoul Supersub, a benchwarmer who scored the 3–1 only minutes after coming on. He then went on to make it 3–2 in the 82nd minute, before Doug scored an absolute banger from range to make it 3–3, snatching a point from FC Kaapstad, who surely thought they had it in the bag.
