On the 15th of november the 4th match night was on the table for the Simulation Soccer Leagues Minor League.
Athênai F.C. and CS Rova Mpanjaka met at the Tomb of Doom.
Rova went off with a flying start. Luc van Setten made a harsh tackle in the 8th minute of the game on Cue Jr. After a VAR check the referee decided that the ball would be put on the spot.
After stepping up to the spot Tank Denstro scored his 2nd goal of the season with a hard shot in the bottom right corner.
After a interception by Turk at the back line of Rova, Rova followed up with another goal in the 9th minute. Turk set it up with his interception and after some great play in the midfield, Turk gave a splitting through ball on Smalls into the Athênai Box.
Smalls didn't hesitate and scored his first goal of the season. Within 11 minutes of the game Rova took charge with a 0-2 lead.
After the quick start of the game there was a bit of a lull in the game. The next chance was in the 27th minute after a free kick and shot by Smalls which ended up being saved by Rivers.
In the 37th minute Rova looked to be getting some help from the referee. After a short dribble by Schwarte into the Athênai box it was a tackle by Morgenstern. After a VAR check the referee decided that his decision would stand.
This led to a second goal of the game by Tank Denstro which led to his 3rd goal of the season.
In the 46th minute Munoz scored his 1st goal of the season after a cleared header from Schwarte was picked up by Morgenstern. Morgenstern gave a great pass from the edge of the box onto Munoz who only had to tap it in, past the goalkeeper.
At half time the score said 1-3 in favour of Rova.
After the half time tea it looked that Rova wanted to put the pressure on immediately. After some great midfield passing Turk managed to get a shot off across the bar after a rebounded pass in the 46th minute.
Hughes-Galloway had another shot at goal however Satoshi managed to save and clear it.
After the first 15 minutes in the second half it was time for a chance by Athenai. Morgenstern had a great dribble and through pass on Neslihan Genckle who put Munoz in position for a shot from the edge of the box. Schwarzer had a great save by tipping it over.
In the 68th minute Rivers managed to get a clear shot but shot it past the post of Schwarzer.
Rova had another great chance by Turk who shot it from the near post. Satoshi had another great save which led to a corner. Schwarte took the corner and Skovgaard put it in with a head. Skovgaard is now on his third goal of the season already.
After kick-off Athênai immediately responded. After a great pass by Wagner on Faxe, Faxe had a great combination with Rivers and Morgenstern. Faxe had another great through pass on Morgenstern which crossed it into the box and Wagner was their to put it in, for his first goal of the season. After 72 minutes it was 2-4.
Tank Denstro had his hattrick reversed after being offside in the 79th minute.
In the 82nd minute Athênai brough back the tension into the game. After a great pass from Munoz on Wagner, Wagner managed to find Rivers on the 5 meter line which tapped in the goal to make it 3-4.
In the last seconds of the game Faxe had one more pop on goal from about 25 metres which managed to hit the cross bar. In the end it didn't matter as the ref blew his final whistle.
Rova ended up with a 3-4 win at Athenâi which moved them up in third place with 9 points. On the other hand Athênai F.C. still stays without points at the bottom of the table.
