Krung Thep FC took home the win against AF Masques Sacrés in a 3-2 thriller.
Krung started off strongly and finally got their breakthrough in the 22 minute via a set piece goal. After Oliver's initial cross was defended well and headed out to Machado, he and Oliver exchanged passes which allow Machado to power a shot into the bottom left corner of the net. This was Machado's 6th goal of the season.
It didn't take long until Masques started to make there mark in the game, in the 27th minute Walker was played through on goal by Taarel but was unlucky to see his shot from 20 yards rebound off the crossbar and back into the keepers arms. But within 50 seconds they had finally gotten their equalizer. Taarel again was involved setting Warrick off down the left allowing him to continue into the box untouched and square a pass to the onrushing Munro to finish expertly into the bottom right hand corner. Less than 3 minutes later Munro got his & Mascres' 2nd to give them the lead. In almost a carbon copy of his first goal Warrick played a lovely ball into the box allowing Munro to pass it into the net, this time to the keepers right.
Disaster then struck for Masques Sacrés when Seth McNeil was injured in the 31st minute and then Remi Taarel was injured in the 45th minute. With no more subs available this meant Masques would have to see out the game with 10 men, a tough task. Masques didn't seem to miss the extra man at first continuing to create chances and match xG with Krung Thep until the inevitable happened in the 82nd minute. With an overload at the back post, a lovely ball from al-Kazmi found Bloodflame who had the simple task of putting it beyond Mobek to tie the game. Could they go on to grab a winner?
Sadly, yes. They waited until the 89th minute to break AF Masques Sacrés fans hearts. After clever work down the left, the ball was worked into Magool who took his chance from 14 yards and put the game beyond doubt. Masques had fought valiantly but spirits were broken and the points were gone.
