Thoughts on the SSL Podcast

Afternoon everyone

I'll be honest I need to do an article for SHL CW week affliate and I had some thoughts on the future of the podcast so wanted to kill two birds with one stone so to speak

The podcast has slowed down recently for a few reasons betwene the 3 of us but we are planning to get back into doing one every two weeks, it's just not feasible unfortunatley for us to do one every week while balancing family life etc so hopefully this is enough, we do have one planned for this weekend which I'm excited about, focusing mainly on predictions which is too late to help out but should be fun to openly discuss and see how similar our preds were 

I also wanted to take this oppurtunity to see if anyone had an requests/thoughts etc to help take it to the next level, I know SHL do a lot with face cams/screen sharing at the same time, I don't know if that's something people would want added? maybe set segments every pod to discuss something? I feel like we are pretty good at going over the week but could always be improved, anything too time intensive to arrange would likely be a miss i'm afraid  

Anyways let us know what you think, honestly there's been so many people asking to join the pod it's been hard to keep track so if you're wanting to be on one and we've already talked about it please just dm me over and over until it gets sorted I won't be annoyed I promise...

To be honest I don't think the pods really need much extra added, especially if scheduling issues persist that already make hosting the podcasts an issue.

I think people just enjoy hearing pleasant people talking about stuff in the league. I think it's good to aim to have one interesting unique thing/segment every podcast, such as the WSFC team draft, quiz, etc. Just for variety sake.

Question is what kind of format do you want to deliver on? Are you set on the 3-host, 1-guest format or is it the "No Face & friends show?"

The former needs to have all three of you and your guest available which is what you mentioned there's an issue with and the latter means you can switch it up whenever you want. If you wanted to do a one-on-one interview one week or mid-week, you can do that, whereas the former you don't.

If you want to be super casual about it, if you find yourself with time and in a good topic on Discord, ask them to hop onto a voice-chat with you and record it? Doesn't have to be an hour or even as formal as you've got it currently structured.
