Minors league (1 & 2) attacking statistics
#1
For the statistics I have taken both divisions of the Minors league so we can expect a nice mix of division 1 and 2 players in the statistics. This seemed most fun for the competitiveness of being the actual "best" in the Minors league.

Any player can feature in these statistics, it's not position based. In the next articles I plan on doing the same for playmaking and defending.

Average rating
The average rating distribution forms a tightly compressed elite group with very small margins separating the entire top ten, which is expected after only 2 matches played. The difference between first and tenth place is only 0.65 which highlights how little separates consistent high performers across the season so far. Rather than having "tiers" the rankings are defined by incremental gains that accumulate over time and we haven't had that chance yet. Later on in the season we can expect big changes.

Arsène N'Goussou finishes at the top of the table with an 8.7 narrowly beating out Hans Grudnar on 8.65, a single ball touch could have made the difference here. The gap between first and second is tiny, showing us how closely matched the leading performers are in this category at this point. Jay Cue Jr. takes third with 8.5 staying within striking distance of the top two.

Behind the podium spots, THRAXXii La’Mort records 8.4 followed by Scat Cat on 8.3. The middle group is especially dense with Thomas Schwarte and Weston McNuggie both sitting on 8.25 this group is effectively inseparable in performance terms so far.

Further down Bob Berendsen holds eighth with 8.2 while Silver Tarandus is ninth on 8.15. Matt Oopsie Wrongsport Turk (funny name) completes the top ten with 8.05. Rounding out a group where every everyone is very close together.

There are no large performance gaps to speak of yet.

xG (Expected Goals)
The xG distribution already shows some players pulling ahead of the rest. We have one clear leader and a gradual compression through the remaining top ten. The gap between first and second is notably large compared to the rest of the table while positions three through ten are tightly grouped together showing a much more balanced attacking output outside the very top performer. The structure shows a single high volume chance generator operating above the general field with the rest of the grouped narrowly.

Scat Cat leads the category with 3.24 xG establishing a clear margin over the rest of the field. The gap to Arsène N'Goussou in second on 3.07 is still notable but the most significant separation appears between first and the rest of the pack rather than within the chasing group.

Behind the top two Lisfor ilovezeagLe and Hans Grudnar sit basically level on 1.72 and 1.71 forming the first group of chasers. Ozzy Trent Kovács and Mikko Rashford II follow on 1.62 and 1.61 continuing the near identical output.

Below that sits Weston McNuggie with 1.59, ahead of Greg Evil on 1.43. Kim Heung-Min sits ninth with 1.42 while Silver Tarandus completes the top ten on 1.38.

Shots
The shots distribution shows a decent structure at the top of the table with a clear top three separating themselves from the rest of the players. The spread suggests that shot volume is driven by a small group of consistently involved players so far while the remainder of the top ten groups tightly together with only minor differences in shot volume. This creates a table where early separation matters more than marginal variation in the lower ranks.

Ben Nelson leads the category with 15 shots setting the benchmark for overall attacking volume at this point. Scat Cat follows closely on 14 maintaining strong involvement and staying firmly in contention at the top of the rankings. Arsène N'Goussou holds third place with 12 completing a clear leading trio that separates itself from the rest of the field.

Further down Matt Stro records 11, while Ozzy Trent Kovács and Greg Evil share fifth and sixth on 10 and reinforcing the mid table group where output levels begin to converge.
Luke Walker sits seventh with 9 followed by a three way tie on 7 between Hans Grudnar, Silver Tarandus and Lisfor ilovezeagLe.

Shots on target
The shots on target distribution tightens slightly compared to total shot volume with efficiency instead of volume beginning to define the upper structure. The top end shows a small but meaningful separation while the mid table groups around a narrow band where differences are largely decided by single event margins rather than sustained efficiency.

Arsène N'Goussou leads the category with 10 shots on target establishing himself as the most accurate finisher in terms of direct shots on goal. Scat Cat follows on 8 maintaining strong attacking consistency but trailing the leader by a noticeable margin in conversion targeted output. Ozzy Trent Kovács sits third with 7.

Behind them, Ben Nelson records 6 while Matt Stro, Greg Evil and Mikko Rashford II all share positions five through seven on 5.

Further down, Hanibal Armaros, Weston McNuggie and You Jiang complete the top ten on 4. Rounding out the group where differences in shot selection and finishing opportunities define placement.

Goals
The goals distribution shows us the best finishers we have in the minors division so far with a clear top pair and a steady decline into the rest of the top ten. While scoring output is still relatively low overall since we're only two games in, separation at the top is already visible suggesting early differentiation between primary finishers and secondary contributors.

Arsène N'Goussou and Scat Cat share the top spot with 4 goals each forming a joint top and establishing the highest current scoring benchmark. The shared lead reinforces how closely matched the most productive attackers are at this stage.

Behind them, Hans Grudnar and Weston McNuggie sit on 3 goals, forming our group of chasers at this point.

The next group includes Ekon Ayo, Ozzy Trent Kovács and Nico Lam, all on 2 goals.
At the lower end of the top ten, Bad Wolf, Greg Evil and Bob Berendsen each record 1 goal.

The structure already hints at emerging attacking roles forming within the league. Will we continue to see these players perform throughout the season?

Goals outside the box
The outside the box scoring distribution is extremely small with only five players recording any data, so we won't spend too much time on this one.

Arsène N'Goussou, Bad Wolf, Ekon Ayo, Bob Berendsen and Irepsej Imeinaktok all sit joint top with 1 goal each, forming a shared leading group with no individual separation.
Below them, the remainder of the top ten consists entirely of players on 0 goals, including Aren fjord, Angry Lizard, Alessandro Del Pirlo, Austin Morley and Baptiste Azzola. Congratulations on the special shoutout.

xG overperformance
The xG overperformance distribution highlights finishing efficiency, or perhaps that the opponent made a small oopsie. Producing a top end where a few players are converting above expectation while the rest of the field falls into a gradual decline. The spread suggests that most players are operating close to their expected output with only a small number consistently outperforming what is expected of them.

Ekon Ayo leads the category with a standout +1.82 establishing the clearest efficiency gap in the dataset. This level of overperformance indicates a strong finishing return compared to chance quality and separating him decisively from the rest of the group.

Behind him, Weston McNuggie records +1.41 followed by Hans Grudnar on +1.29. Forming our closest chasers of high efficiency finishers.

The mid section begins with Nico Lam on +1.18 followed by a tightly packed group featuring Arsène N'Goussou and Bob Berendsen both on +0.93. This grouping reflects players who are performing slightly above expected levels without breaking into the elite efficiency tier just yet.

Further down Bad Wolf records +0.85 just ahead of João Mendes on +0.83 and Tito Esposito on +0.80. Continuing a gradual decline in overperformance values. Owen Goal completes the top ten on +0.79.

Predicted goals
It's back woo, this will show us what the prediction is for the amount of goals a player will score based on a couple of statistics. There is a clear split between two joint leaders and the rest of the Players, the top end is heavily separated from the mid table showing us that finishing projections are concentrated among a small number of high output attackers so far. Below the leading tier the curve steps down more gradually forming distinct bands over a stable decline.

Arsène N'Goussou and Scat Cat share the top projection with 28 predicted goals each, this probably won't stay that high for long, forming a dominant joint first place. Their output establishes a clear expectation gap between them and the rest of the league.

Behind them Weston McNuggie sits on 22 holding a solid second position but still far below the leading pair. Hans Grudnar follows on 18 also giving us a clear gap between second an third.

The middle of the table includes Ozzy Trent Kovács on 14 and Zay Bailey on 13. Both representing steady but significantly lower expected scoring levels compared to the top group.
Further down the table a group appears on identical projections. Nico Lam, Jack Pow, Lisfor ilovezeagLe and John McDougal all sit on 7 forming a tightly packed lower group.

Offsides
The offsides distribution reflects a relatively tight attacking line across the top ten, featuring in this dataset means you're either very eager to get in behind or potentially need a quick reminder on the rulebook. A small group of players is consistently pushing beyond defensive structures, the spread is relatively close suggesting that most players operate within similar attacking positioning patterns with only minor separation driven by timing and run frequency rather than systemic differences.

Dennis van Huntelrooy (at the top of something baby, woo) and Blaise N'Kufo share the top of the table with 6 offsides each, forming a joint leading pair that indicates an aggressive attacking profile and frequent movement beyond the defensive line. Seems like the recent academy players might be a bit too eager to get a chance at goal.

Armero Staple, Scat Cat and Ozzy Trent Kovács sit on 5 offsides forming a tight secondary group that remains consistently involved in advanced attacking positions but slightly less exposed than the leaders of this category.

The mid section includes Lisfor ilovezeagLe and Luke Walker both on 4. Continuing the pattern of gradual decline without too much separation. These players maintain attacking presence while showing more controlled timing in forward runs.

Further down Jonathan Muńoz, Dante Von Wolfe and Santos Neymarinho complete the top ten on 3 offsides. Rounding out a group where margins are minimal and differences are defined largely by situational awareness and attacking run decisions.

Striker impact
The striker impact model shows us who is being the most efficient/effective striker at this point based on a couple statistics. We have a clear separation between a dominant leading pair. The top end is sharply elevated compared to the rest indicating that overall striker influence is concentrated in a small number of high impact attackers so far. The expectation is that this will become more evenly spread as the league goes on.

Scat Cat leads the striker impact rankings with 16.997 narrowly ahead of Arsène N'Goussou on 16.740. Both players are on an entirely different level compared to the rest and are significantly ahead of the rest of the players and defining the primary attacking benchmark in the league at this point.

Behind them Weston McNuggie records 11.53 forming a distinct second tier that is still separated from the league’s bigger mid table but notably below the top two in overall influence.

Hans Grudnar sits fourth with 9.94 followed by Silver Tarandus on 8.26. Continuing a decline through the upper/mid portion of the distribution. These players represent consistent attacking contributions without reaching elite striker impact levels, yet.

The lower half of the top ten includes Ozzy Trent Kovács (7.55), Owen Goal (7.48), Eden Empire IV (6.29), Remi Taarel (5.73) and Jonathan Muńoz (5.28). This group is forming a tight lower end with barely any separation.
