Kaz's Take On Draws
#1
Another week, another meeting with Kaz about the way things have been going. I caught up with him after a recent tie against Krung Thep FC.

Kaz was a bit less a grinning fool this time, but still seemed to be in decent spirits.

"So, you still aren't in relegation, that's good news, right?" I asked him, sitting down across from him as he took a haul off of his water bottle.  If he hadn't been keeping in such good shape, the way he tossed out conspiracy theories I might have questioned what was in that bottle, but today, he was a bit more restrained.

"Of course that's good news, even if you don't truly think that."

"Yet again, I'm on your side.  I do better if you succeed, why do you think I'd sabotage that?" I ask, though I'm not sure why I'd expect a reasonable answer to that.

"Because you work for them."

Before I could explain yet again that no, I do not work for 'them', I'm doing this in my free time, he moved on.

"I hate draws.  Both teams tried hard and for what? There to be no resolution.  Let us keep playing.  I don't know about Krung Thep, but I would have played three more games to prove that we could have won that one."

I tried explaining that there are schedules to be met and that it was unreasonable to ask a team to play a total of four games in one day to prove a point.

"You don't get it."

I thought I did, I happened to have that same point of view, but according to him, apparently I didn't, as he got up and left again.

So overall, I think this week's check in went well. I only got accused of conspiracy one time and had my intelligence questioned once, so that was an improvement over the previous meeting.
