TMZCairo - Fact Checked and Verified

Amidst a cold streak of games, Leo Stone has started to look elsewhere for motivation to snap the streak and get some goals going. And with a stroke of luck, this week happens to coincide with the release of Leonardo Stone’s new movie that he filmed for during last offseason. Leo’s role in the movie came as a surprise for many, as Leo Stone has famously been heralded as a bad (some may even say horrendous) actor ever since the infamous Alvin and the Chipmunks 5 flop. This upcoming movie is The Iliad and was directed by award winning director Craig Topher Fallon, which is why the choice for Stone was puzzling. He had a clean sweep at the razzies for the chipmunk movie, it really was that bad. The reviews for The Iliad are out, and with a rotten tomato score of 91, it's safe to say it's a success. However, the consensus is the same. Stone’s performance really hurt what could have been a generational movie. Stone was seen on instagram live reading the reviews before the live eventually got cut short on review 11. We will share the more fun ones of our favorite reviews that Stone read live below.

AMAZING! Fallon does it again. Amazing score and great acting; and the twist at the end, flawless. Would have given it a 5/5 but man… I know it was only 5 minutes but Stone is not built for acting… at ALL! Nearly ruined the movie… Still, great film!

Honestly it was pretty good. I enjoyed a lot of it. But why on Earth is Leonardo Stone given 5 minutes of screen time and the role of Apollo(!) in a Fallon film. The dude isn’t even that good at soccer. Just totally took me out of Greek times and ruined it for me. Like… a wink at the camera?? How did this make it through editing lol

CairoFanCairoCairo_1 - 5/5
Literally the best movie I have ever seen. 5 Stars, no notes

SlobberItRattinson - 4/5
I thought it was pretty solid tbh, great performances from Anya Taylor-Joy and of course Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Supporting actors Taylor Lautner as Hector and Lily Taylor as Hera were splendid. Special shoutout to Leo Stone, because while he is a terrible actor and the wink was terrible, that man was HOT and was perfect for the Sun God Apollo… at least he was the perfect person to be in a toga... <3

SSL Fans, we will have to wait and see if these harrowing reviews can ignite a fire under Leo in order to help get him back on track and get Cairo promoted, or if he will simply crumble under the critics and get even worse.
