Somewhere in Norway, as the sun goes down at 3pm, there is a small child looking up at a big child, who is looking up at a teenager, who is looking up at a young adult. Who is that young adult at the end of the line of ever increasing males? Why, it's Vegetable Lasagna. Lasagna grew up playing football by day, idolizing the likes of Martin Odegaard and Erling Halaand, and working as a fisherman by night.
But now he's received the opportunity of a lifetime. To head off to neighboring Sweden, and ply his trade as a footballer, hoping to God on high that he will make it to the top, in an effort to remove himself from a path in life that only smells of lutefisk.
He started as a winger from a young age, but was recently dropped deeper to give a new attacking dynamic from a defensive position. He combines the tenacity of a young Gary Neville with the abliity to bound forward and drop crosses to the far post like a prime Trent AA.
Who knows if he will meet those high expectations, or if he'll flame out after a few seasons like his user's players that came before... but one thing is for certain...
