TMZ Cairo is back again with another disturbing story surrounding their young player. Leo Stone was the player in question this time, and this could be a reason for the poor start to the season the young star has found for himself. Despite Cairo’s success of a 2 game win streak, Stone has been largely uninvolved, looking like a shell of himself on the pitch. But the real reason is finally coming out after TMZ has received an exclusive security footage clip from an anonymous source.
In the video, Stone can clearly be seen drinking a strange green liquid, and reaching into his bag to refill his glass 8 times over the 30 minute long video footage. Further inspections have revealed the liquid to be from the can form of Mountain Dew Baja Blast. Needless to say, 8+ cans of any soda in this amount of time would be troubling, but to do so on the night before an 8am game is unheard of, and makes Stone’s slow (and quite honestly sad) performances over the last few games make a lot more sense. Once we at TMZ were able to post the footage, Stone actually made a request to us to make an official statement.
His statement is as follows: I, Leonardo Stone, did indeed drink 9 cans of soda in one 35 minute sitting. It happens, we’ve all been there right? But anyways, after discussing with my trainer, I will no longer be drinking any soda. I had no idea how unhealthy those things were! I’ll just focus on cold water from now on. But mmm they did taste really good... But now that I have been informed of this I should look to go back into my usual elite form soon. I promise Cairo fans, we will come up. Stone out.
