2026-10-23, 07:31 AM - Word count:
After the joy, success and of course the partying that Catalunya's promotion brought to the staff and player , it didn't take long for Luke Walker to be back at training. Despite having a breakout in his debut Major season, he has assured us he doesn't want this to be a one and done situation. Too many times in the past players have had one good season and claimed a career out of it. Walker was adamant he wasn't going to be one of those:
Hard work doesn't come with a promise of success, but it's the only way to find it. No one lucked into talent, it has and always will be crafted behind the scenes during those longs hours away from the spotlight. Those rainy days when you don't want to do the work still count the same as those when the sun is shining and all is good with the world. I'm obsessed with being better than the day before and next season, Catalunya are going to see the absolute best of Luke Walker. They are going to be getting the dividends of that hard word and hopefully along with it, some accolades.
There you have it folks, while we sit her wondering who will be drafted next, the current and upcoming stars are still working away to ensure their places don't come under threat and hopefully even thrive. I for one cannot wait to see Luke Walker in the top division, he has all the ability to become a star there.....and that's before we see the latest installment after his training during this off season.
