Tex Star spent the offseason pushing his body to the limit to become faster and stronger than ever before. Being the man in the middle for FC Kaapstad is something he surely is taking serious and wants to do all he can to get a better finish this season than they did the last. Slightly avoiding relegation, and Tex didn’t impact the games as much as he would’ve liked to. This season he will aim to combine assist and goals for at least 10 opportunities created. Ultimately the goal will be to finish at the top of the league standings rather than personal stats, and in a recent interview Tex said adding their new rookie along with the young core of players led by the ace himself Dante Van Wolfe, there’s no reason they should’ve be able to give every team in the league a tough match and be the team to beat this season. Throughout the season Tex will also look to build technically and improve on the aggression at which he attacks this season as he was very passive at times which was uncharacteristic of the great academy goal scorer that he was two seasons ago.
