Beginning of a Frenchman
#1
In my perusals across FM20 and FM22 across the years, I've noticed that one thing in particular seems to be a large factor in how teams score goals: finishing. Now of course, the player also has to be put in a position where their strengths are being used appropriately and not shoved half-baked into a formation they're not totally familiar with, or forced to play a position outside of one they are comfortable with. I have not had any issues at all with Cairo in this regard, but have seen in my own franchises several players that have signed with another team, done poorly, and allowed me to purchase them for cheap and sell them high. In particular notice to Cairo's strategies, I have noticed while watching the games that the team struggles to maintain possession of the ball, and while this is due to several factors, I think the most important is that the team doesn't seem to have a terribly great sense of passing. We often have either one player hold on to the ball for too long, or pass too much or too far and turn the ball over. Pascal has been doing well in his passing, hitting 82% accuracy which is below league average but still not bad, and has worked on that area of his game in updates. However, Pascal's also got work to do to make his suggestions mean anything to the manager. He needs to get his average game rating up from 6.53, which is strikingly average and something that he wants to shine. Although Pascal has attempted the most penalties in the league and converted all three attempts, he has only one goal outside of the penalty spot and would like to raise that number significantly in the coming matches. He'd also like to begin winning more than four of every ten headers, and would like to have a cross completion percentage significantly higher than 15%. He's running 50% for tackles, which is another area to improve in but okay for now, and is doing quite well in the fouls department, only having four called on him while having ten against him. Pascal has enjoyed his debut into the SSL, but now he knows it's time to get to work and truly carve out his path to greatness.

Hey, I hope you and Cairo can turn things around (except Torres). I'll see you guys in Barcelona, good luck!
