Inter London has gotten off to a rocky start in this SSL campaign, and few notice more than Tata. In the center of the pitch, he sees all of the game coming and going. He's honored to have played the full 90 in both the opening matches, but neither has bared any fruit. 3-0 and 2-0 losses have seen the team come out sluggish an ineffective in the manager's style. There are lots of new faces, and the game speed is much different than most of the rookies are used to, so the adjusting period is taking longer than anticipated. At times, Tata feels a bit lost in the shuffle and like he needs more support through the middle, but at other times he feels flashes of the dominance he dreams of attaining. But dreams and goals without work, bear no fruit. So Tata and Inter London are going to redoublle their efforts and really focus up in training sessions.
The gaffer has plenty of experience and an incredible knowledge of the game, but the players have to work harder to absorb and retain the tactics he provides. Youre wants to be the rock; the centerpiece everything flows through, but at this stage of his career, and with this team, that's not the role he needs to play just yet. As he adjusts to the league a bit more and grows into his powers, then he can shift in a little more and get involved in everything. Right now he seems to be trying to do too much before he fully understands what his true role is. What he does know, is he's giving all the effort he can. Through the first 2 games, Tata has traveled 28.4 KM. So he's absolutely busting his ass in efforts to support the offense and protect the defense a little. Perhaps tho, he is using a bit too much energy to support the defense, when the gaffer has asked him to get more involved and focus on the attack. Moving forward, Tata will need to strengthen his bond with fellow rookie Le Tissier if Inter London have any hope of promotion.
