GRADED: GRADED: Theme Week - Here's 11 Players

As we approach Theme Week for season 5 of the Simulation Soccer League, I have a touch decision to make for my chosen squad. Shall I go with a theme or just go with who are the top players for each position. I think i will do a bit of a mix, as I am not the most seasoned of SSL users, nor do I know much about Football Manager or super high level tactics in general. So, let us see how we shall end up, as I will pick players I think are good, or whom I like for other reasons. <br><br>I will be boring and run a standard 4-4-2. All stats used will be based on Season 5...so small sample size will be king here. <br><br>Goalkeeper<br>Certified Problem - Sydney City<br>I like how they are the leader in Clean Sheets, with 3, and are also second in save percentage at 84.6%. Are these the best indicators of current or even future success at the position, who could even tell? But I like this.<br><br>Left Back<br>Gerald Gerrard - Hollywood<br>Looks like a great two-way player, is good in the air and can stick his nose in to make a tackle.<br><br>Center Back<br>Jonas Thessenvitz - Sao Paulo<br>Is this playing him out of position? Who knows. He is a strong defender, and is someone I want on the back line game in and game out. <br><br>Center Back<br>Eirlys Snooks - Adowa Accra<br>This is just a fun name, and I know they patrol the center of the backline for their squad with good TPE. <br><br>Right Back<br>Jay Bryzski - AS Paris<br>Here is a right back with 705 TPE. Neat.<br><br>Left Midfielder<br>Ioannis Papastathopoulos - Montreal United<br>They have a 7.76 average rating, which makes my young player cry, as he dreams he could be that consistent. They have a 22.6% cross rate which is good enough for me.<br><br>Central Defensive Mid<br>Sydney Ramirez<br>88.5% tackle percentage, ball-winning midfielder, runs all over the park. <br><br>Central Midfielder<br>Zinedine Gintonic - Athenai<br>A grizzled vet from back in season 1. They do a lot of things pretty well, headers, passing, interceptions. They play aggressive which I like. <br><br>Right Midfielder<br>Ketchup Noodle - Seoul<br>I am most likely playing them out of position, but they're a good player. They'll figure it out. Great name. <br><br>Center Forward<br>Owen Fourty-Four - Sydney City<br>Followed up an excellent season 4 with a great start to season 5, as they already have 6 goals on the year. <br><br>Center Forward<br>Franco Torres - Cairo City<br>Another reliable scorer.
