The following additions can now be found in the <a href='https://simsoccer.jcink.net/index.php?showforum=24' rel='nofollow noopener' target='_blank'>Rulebook</a>: Extended deadlines for loans The deadline to agree to a loan has been extended from the MD1 tactic deadline (usually Thursday of Week 2) to Sunday of Week 3. Reduce the draft picks available to trade With the league now running with 16 teams divided into two divisions, the 4th round of the Prospect Draft would be starting at pick 48. We do not think that we will see such a large draft class any more so the picks available for trade has now been limited to the 3rd round instead. Removal of Bots With the large player pool, the need for bots to "fill up" rosters have been essentially made extinct. As such a team may now only include a Goalkeeper bot with their roster limit of 18 players. Salary Cap Changes The league used a dynamic salary cap that was affected by the number of created players and the number of teams. It needed to be continuously checked and the cap could only be finalized just days prior to the start of each season which made it tough to plan ahead. It also took into account Inactive FA players that have no purpose anymore in the league and only inflated the cap to very high values. We have now implemented a fixed cap for S8 and beyond, setting the cap to 47 million this season and 50 million for S9 and subsequent seasons. <div align="center"><img src='https://files.jcink.net/uploads2/simsoccer/Emoticons/SSL_Logo_30px.png' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='https://files.jcink.net/uploads2/simsoccer/Emoticons/SSL_Logo_30px.png' /> League Updates <img src='https://files.jcink.net/uploads2/simsoccer/Emoticons/SSL_Logo_30px.png' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='https://files.jcink.net/uploads2/simsoccer/Emoticons/SSL_Logo_30px.png' /></div> The size of the most recent draft class was small compared to the earlier classes in the league. This is something that we are aware of and are working on different avenues to resolve. There are multiple leagues waiting for an affiliation with the SSL that we have deliberately held off on due to the vast majority of the rosters being full. We have been discussing different ways to approach or mitigate this issue that we are hoping to implement now during S8 and leading into S9. /Commissioner Canadice
