Princess Changshan Trains For The Draft
#1
Deftly balancing the soccer ball upon her forehead, Princess Changshan practiced in a state of deep thought. What kind of team would await her after the SSL draft was concluded? The ego of the Princess made it clear she would be a top pick of the draft, far ahead of her peers, despite never playing a professional game. However, what kind of teammates would she have? Clearly, the Princess would become the captain in the inaugural season, as anything less would be a disgrace to the royal Chinese line of her descendants.

After a few bounces off her forehead, the ball landed with a thud on the ground next to her. Clearly, her aerial abilities were not quite up to an elite level just yet. Princess Changshan however sat down satisfied with her progress for the day. She had, in fact, balanced the ball just two seconds longer than her previous personal best. This, of course, was cause for great celebration. Princess Changshan noted that she would have to instruct her parents to order her a special technique instructor right before the draft, just to make sure she was even more prepared. While some GM's around the league had sent letters asking questions of the Princesses abilities, many had refrained from doing so. Princess Changshan simply assumed this meant those particular General Managers thought her ability was simply too high for their roster, or they knew they would select her with the utmost priority from the start and didn't believe that needed to be signaled too early.

Smugly, the Princess wandered back inside, eagerly awaiting the announcement of exactly who would select her.
