Currently sitting 2nd in the D2 standings, Reykjavik is 5-1-1 this season and fighting for top spot with both AS Paris and AC Romana. However probably the most notable aspect of the Icelandic side’s season so far is their defensive efforts. They have only conceded 2 goals this season is 7 games. It has been the talk when they play, as they have been a fortress on the back end, led by stud goalkeeper Scott Sterling.
While their goals for is slightly less than those of the other two teams at the top of the table with them, they aren’t too far behind.
