Word is from our Italian reporting team that Amore Delo, current midfielder fo the SSL Academy team Stockholm Idrottsklubb, has been targeted by several SSL Division 1 team scouts. Most recently, Delo was seen fraternizing with Furious Chicken, famed manager of division two team Red Star Laos and board member for Reykjavik United. Interestingly, Chicken has worked with Amore’s father, Moe Delo, previously – employing him as a midfielder for Laos – so perhaps there is already an area of comfortability involved, or at least a formal connection.
Reportedly, representatives from C.F. Catalonia and Schwarzwälder Fußballverein have also reached out to Amore, perhaps looking to bolster their midfield with young talent in their respective minor league affiliates. When we reached out to Amore with questions, he had indicated that “[he] was looking forward to the draft and that [he] has had productive conversations with [the aforementioned] scouts. Playing in the SSL has always been a mutual goal between [him] and [his] father, so getting scouting attention is a good sign that achieving that goal would come to fruition.”
