An unlikely talent emerges.

Hailing from Tehran, Misagh Khabiri is an Iranian goalkeeper standing at six feet two inches tall, who's always been thought of as someone who wouldn't make it very far as a professional player. Having started playing football at the age of 19, now being 22 he hasn't had enough time to become someone who'd be good enough at even a national level, in the eyes of youth scouts in Iran.

Having decided that he would commit to becoming a professional player, and knowing he'd have no future with it in Iran he decided to move out and try his luck overseas, where he would play for the B team of IFK Eskilstuna in Sweden to gain experience for 2 years.

Having performed quite well for a late starter as he was, Khabiri's turned a few heads his way and gotten some attention, albeit not too much. Once again he had to make a decision and decided to go for broke, and moved to the US for a chance to play in America's finest league, the SSL. With an okay resume to show for it, he's been accepted as an academy member, and is working hard to keep himself in peak fitness for when an academy team comes knocking.
