Sydney City - Home of the IA
#1
At first I was excited to be on Sydney, then I quickly realized that I basically have all bot teammates with every user magically IA after creating. Seems a bit sus when you got the other two teams stacked with users and they are all earning max tpe. Doesn't make for a fun first season in the academy. I do understand as a striker that Sydney was the only team that did not have one, so I know why I got placed there. Just wish they would balance out the teams more for parity at this level. Oh, well, I am excited to get drafted. I have no idea when that is going to take place. I am also not sure if their is two levels after academy, like a minors team and then a majors team. Some of the big teams that I am interested in based on name and logo alone would have to be, Tokyo SC, Seoul Mythic FC, and Reykjavik United. I have no idea where they are in the standings, but hopefully they have a need for a striker in the upcoming draft. As for my player, it has been nice to finally find the back of the net a bit more consistently. Was a rough start to the season.

Been a week and not much has changed with Sydney City. Pretty sure we are last in the Academy. Not much that can be done about that. However, I feel like my player has had some really strong games since then. Even having themselves a multi goal game. Been a good change with how poorly we are doing as a team though. Curious if the Academy has playoffs. And if they do, how does it work with only 4 teams. Also, for an all-bot team, the Victoria Falls Eagles are pretty damn good lol. Not sure what their bots are getting fed over there but could the Sidney City bots get some of that too?!? We could desperately use any help at this point. We down bad, like real bad. At this point I am just looking forward to the draft. I am excited to see which team wants my player and where my new home will be after the Academy. I am enjoying the stream a lot, but I do hope there is some commentary at some point for some added immersion. Overall SSL has been a lot of fun and I am glad I was recommended to make a player here.
