It has been a decent start for Bérangère-Amandine Bruère-Estrangin in the SSL Academy team of Stockholm, no more no less. While there are some players in the Academy who might be struggling even more to adjust to their new surroundings and the level of play in the Academy, Bruère-Estrangin is not really outshining any of her teammates and opponents either. She has been moved to the RLC position on defense for the first three games, the Stockholm coach favouring Swedish player Freja Ekholm-Gunnarsson for the position of RC. Some would call it a homer decision, but in reality both women are equally right for the position. It will be interesting to see if Bérangère -Amandine will also get a shot at her preferred position before the end of the season.
In 270 minutes played so far, the Honfleur native has not recorded any points but did manage to get the only shot attempt she took to be on target. She has also been accurate with passes, completing 180 successful passes in 194 attempts, a 92,78% rate, good for 8th place in the academy. Defensively, she recorded a single key tackle, as well as 4 interceptions. She has also managed to stay disciplined despit her fiery character and has yet to receive any yellow or red card.
