It's not every hedgehog who starts to that type of sports. Shadow the Hedgehog will be the first one and the pioneer of the Sonic The Hedgehog Franchise. Indeed, he his the only hedgehog character who is specificaly created to be more paced, smart, smooth in the techniques, and, of course, his speed. Even if he can't use his chaos powers to teleport (which is against the rules obviously), he is the smartest and the most mature hedgehog known in the franchise to start a new generation of talent. With his great knowledge of tactics and paced level, he can easily outplay the opposents that tries to stop him. At first created by Gerald Robotnik, he's one of the most popular player in the Sonic's world. Which is not that hard to let him enter into the Simulation Soccer League academy even if he's not the tallest of all the players (which hedgehogs are usually 3 feet tall in Sonic The Hedgehog). Also with his great attributes, he is an interesting player to play right midfield as an attacking secret player that can make a lot of plays in one single minute! To conclude, he is the first hedgehog to come in this Soccer League and not the last at least. His friend will wait to see him play before entering the league aswell.
