Born and raised in Wildflecken, Germany, Elias Kruger began to play with a soccer ball when he was six years old and he fell in love with the activity before he even understood that it was a competitive sport. Once he began to play in organized leagues, Kruger began to stand out as an attacking midfielder not afraid to make the long pass to set up a teammate for a shot. Elias would set the tempo, controlling the action with his superior dribbling skills to others he would face in various youth leagues. He was eventually scouted and offered a spot in the Central Europe SSL Academy. Elias is the oldest son of Hans and Heidi Kruger. Hans Kruger is a veteran member of the German military, stationed at the Wildflecken base. Elias has a younger sister named Astris and a girlfriend named Emelina, Lina for short. Elias is not a big fan of music but his girlfriend sings every Ariana Grande song, much to his annoyance. He teases her, saying he isn't going to the Academy to play soccer, rather, he just wants to get away from her singing. When he's not playing soccer, Elias spends his free time cooking.
