Kika Bahl
#1
Born in Saskatoon, Canada, Kika Bahl has recently joined the SSL Academy in hopes of accomplishing a soccer career. While he is far from the most dynamic or flashy players we've seen join this upcoming draft, Bahl is well-rounded and a dependable defender. He does not excel in any skill, and still has much room to grow, but has potential to be a reliable player in the future. He has a low ceiling, but a high floor.

Preferring to play from the wing, Bahl is as good of a playmaker as a defender. He can make solid plays to break his team out of the back end, but does not necessarily carry the skill required of a more offensive player.

Bahl can be quite the leader on the field, even when he is far from the best player on the team. He can dictate tempo well, and can lead by example. He players a physical and sturdy game on defense, playing in the risky areas of the field with heart and bravery.

Some say he was born to play soccer, and it is essentially destiny that he has made it to the Academy. With a name like Kika Bahl, it is hard to argue that, but it remains to be seen how successful he will be at a professional level, and whether or not he will actually make it or not.
