WSFC Asia Roster Announcement
#1

Conference Hall Liang Kuai, Taipei
It was a warm and humid afternoon, and the hall was crowded with journalists hungry for words. They were talking among themselves, discussing the theorized Asian roster, knowing they were the last region to announce it. Some were even saying that Asia had the worst group in the World Cup.
That was when Asia's head coach, Lü Bu, chose to make his appearance. The room fell silent at his imposing stature, which his tailor-made suit poorly tried to hide.
Lü Bu stared at the room for a moment, then cleared his throat before saying in a crystal-clear voice:
“Thank you for coming to the presentation of the selected players for Asia. It wasn’t an easy choice since we have a great number of amazing players. First, I want to make something clear.”
He straightened up in his chair to impose his vision on everyone.
“Asia aims to win the World Cup; I know we will face harsh competition, like the USA or Central Europe, but I will not tolerate anything less than victory. I hope to prove my determination to you in the upcoming friendlies.”
The room began to fill with excitement. Lü Bu allowed himself a slight smile; his boldness had the intended effect.
“I will now announce my selection:
As Goalkeepers: As Defenders: As Midfielders: As Strikers:
Another tough choice was the designation of the squad captain. It was a long and difficult decision, but Muunokhoi Sarantsatsral has all my trust for this task. Wang Zhihao will be his vice-captain.”
He sighed for a bit, seeming to take in fresh air and letting his announcement resonate with every listener.
“I also wanted to introduce the next kit for our region.”
Several of his personal assistants came onto the stage, presenting the blue home kit and a pink away kit.

Before Lü Bu could be overwhelmed by all kinds of questions—many unrelated to the selection—he chose to speak first:
“Thank you for being here once again, and I hope you will be behind us, cheering for us during this tournament. That will be all.”
