Once again, another season of the SSL is fast approaching. Players from all teams are gearing up towards another round of exciting matches. As the season starts, the off season training ends and the fruits of each player’s practice will be shown in the games to come. União São Paulo is no exception to being among the teams returning to the season which worked hard to improve themselves even more. Many players on the team say they are more confident in their skills as players now that they have had some time to participate in rigorous training to prepare for the next intense season. Improving a lot since two seasons ago, União São Paulo has shown what hard work and determination can achieve. Their offensive and defensive lines have worked on different proposed passing plays along with working on positioning to either get the ball out or kick the ball in. Along with this were a plethora of other drills dedicated to improving ball control, corners, and free kicks. Nerve de Groot and his offensive linemen have worked exceptionally hard last season as their number of goals increased tremendously along with more clearances by the defense. Without any doubt in their minds, União São Paulo steps back into the spotlight as another season of the league kicks off.
