GRADED: A Dinosaur's Breakfast
#1
One of the most difficult things to adjust to as part of moving to Switzerland to play for Stockholm has been, undoubtedly, been breakfast. I am more than high performing athlete that requires thousands of calories every day in order to fuel the machine that generates wins for my club. I am also, as many people are becoming aware, a literal dinosaur that is often seen stealing things from various locations.

Protein is of course incredibly important for me. I'm primarily a carnivore and the options for fully meat meals for breakfast in Switzerland are pretty slim. Back in Portugal, I would acquire whole sheep from local farmers and have one every day. Usually the old or infirm to help the farmers thin their flocks but if I was feeling fancy I'd go for a nicer sheep or maybe even a pig.

Here in Switzerland, a place I definitely didn't google search while writing this article, my options are mostly limited to sausages and the occasional steak. Now, don't get me wrong, I love a good sausage as much as the next person. But there simply isn't enough protein for me.

Now, I don't want to resort to eating opposing players on the field.

I'm just saying it's an option if the situation gets dire enough.
