The draft is coming, and the excitement is palpable. All of us young academy talents ready to join our teams of the future and find a badge to fight for in the long term. Where we will be able to foster a sense of camaraderie with new teammates and learn how we fit into our new organizations both as players and as personalities in the room with the rest of the team. Future glory on the horizon for all of us as we make our transition into the minor league and then, eventually, into the major.
But I don't care about any of that.
I'm a criminal, haven't you heard?
All of this is just enabling my dastardly criminal plans to hoard as much wealth as possible through ethical means such as thievery as opposed to unethical means such as exploiting the working class like some kind of filthy capitalist.
A close companion to riches is glory, and I am certain that I will be able to garner much and more with whatever club drafts me in the near future. Whatever salary I get paid will, of course, be subject to whatever taxes the parent country has...and my ill gotten gains will stay forever free from the clutches of any country.
