It is time to list off a few of Mikko Rashford's favourite things.
On the pitch, Rashford loves to be the key cog in the midfield. With duties both offensive and defensively, Rashford loves the be involved in all plays on the pitch. It may not lead to the most goals or assists, but it keeps him always involved.
Off the pitch, Rashford has a variety of passions that take up a ton of his free time outside of training. An aspiring Chef, Rashford is always one to be cooking meals for his family, friends, and love of his life. Given the vast amount of international travel, Rashford always takes time during his travels to get local, authentic cuisine experiences that become future influences to his own cooking. Over his years in professional sports, his absolute favourite meals would be the following. Perogies, Shawarma, and Curry top his 3 most craved meals when he is traveling to cities that specialize in those cuisines
Rashford is also a Disc Golfer, and with his passion for sports, he helped build a course in his hometown in Zambia. Rashford loves seeing kids have the opportunity to play a sport recreationally that wasn't available to him when he was younger. The sport has become a great way for Rashford to connect with others who many not be good at Soccer or Hockey, the two sports that he competes in professionally.
Another passion that Rashford has is around collecting sports cards. As a kid, Mikko used to always look forward to the packs of hockey cards that his dad would bring home after a day of work. Even though he now gets to connect with the players on those cards, he loves the idea of keeping a little collection from his favourite teams. Even though the SHL is still working on an agreement with card manufacturers, Rashford looks forward to signing his own card for the first time ever.
and Lastly, but absolutely not least. Rashford loves his wife, whom seems to put up with his endless shenanigans on a daily basis. She is the rock that keeps their little family together.
