The Offense is Bananas
#1
Zaza Banana’s season has turned around in a hurry thanks to a hat trick in the first 17 minutes against Inter London. Banana has been frustrated at times with the overall team performance as the team’s goal differential is 15 which is 5th in the minor league, but their current losing record does not reflect that at all. North Shore has won some big blowout games, but has also lost multiple close contests and that has turned into a disappointing season for many players on the minor league club.

Personally, Zaza Banana has begun getting involved in all aspects of the offense and recently broke into an average match rating of more than 8 for the first time all season. While Banana isn’t leading any offensive categories outright, his 14 goals and 11 assists in the minor league make him the only player in the league to be in the top ten in both categories. Banana plays the ball with his head to try and win possession more than the majority of players. His 236 attempts at heading are third in the minors and his 141 successful headers is fifth. At this point in the season, the organization is looking for bright spots and Banana is quickly turning into a valuable player to help the club meet their goals for the future.
