Fry is faster than ever, Match day 22
#1
Match Day 22 is upon us.  Fry got the feedback from the coaching crew and as a result is now at 20 for both pace and acceleration.  Further, his agility was mechanically improved to 16.  Despite his own efforts to lobby for a greater passing attack from the left side, Fry was overpowered by the coaching crew as they injected the performance enhancing drugs and drained his TPE pool.  On the plus side, never again can they insist that he become faster.

Today's match is against USP, which I can only imagine is the famous United Space Parcel delivery service.  Fry lines up on his traditional left side, although again - the coaches have been muttering about his inability to come to the right side of the pitch.  Something for later, I imagine.  Fry does currently have the left wing back position on his list, but it's unrealistic at this point that he would ever be deployed there.  As such, we have considered dropping that position and investing in a new position to go alongside left midfield and left attacking midfield.  Center Midfield?  Attacking midfield?  Or heaven forbid... Right attacking midfield?  While pondering this, Fry noticed that USP has delivered a ball successfully to the back of the net, 0-1... Erm... two balls, but the referee disallowed the second goal for double dribble.

Fry found a Slurm Plus to chug near the sideline and prepared to bring the game back into reach.   Unfortunately, Barr's leg was broken by a sinister tackle and the supersub was required to take over.  A few promising chances went wayward for Cataluna, and then USP delivered another goal, this time not disallowed.  0-2.  Halftime found Fry only sporting a 6.3 rating - not good.

Some quick passing put cananova through to the goal where his knee was shattered by an illegal tackle.  The referee suspiciously declined to award the spot kick, even after reviewing the footage.

Now, an incredible mix-up at the back of USP's line let Qartista one-time the ball into the back of the net, 1-2!

To continue the debate about Fry's skills - There is sufficient money in the bank to also collect a new trait.  What will it be?  Plays One-Twos, perhaps.  Oh... this referee is corrupt.  After declining the penalty decision for Catalunya he has awarded *two* questionable decisions the other way. and now it's 1-3.

Where were we?  Right - traits.  Maybe he could Wind up Opponents?  Or, for games like this one... Argues with Officials.  From the corner kick Fry delivers, Bonito passes it to the supersub and the goal is scored!  and for the love of... the referee has disallowed this goal!  Clearly the player was not in the line of sight of the goalkeeper when the shot was taken, but here we are.  USP immediately delivers again and it's 1-4.  A travesty.

A blisteringly disappointing match.  Bonito scores one in the 94th minute, but 2-4 is far from workable.

Argue with the Officials is the greatest trait a player can have. Sending them some Venmo might be a close second though.
