All Good Up The Middle
#1
It really is a great time to need a fantastic young player up the middle. The Top 5 Players in the upcoming/ongoing SSL Draft represent the full spread from Central Defender all the way up to Striker.

While the order changes by the day, Kaspars Kalinins has been at the top for a large part of the season, with his natural position being Central Defensive Midfielder, but some untapped proficiency in the Central Midfield and the Central Defense.

Next at the moment is Luke Walker, who sits naturally as a Central Midfielder, however has the ability to move up the field through the Attacking Midfield and Striker positions.

Arsène N'Goussou comes up next, a Central Attacking Midfielder who has some talent on the Right flank as well, and the Central Midfield behind.

Then there is Freddy Adu, who also fits best as a Central Attacking Midfielder, but instead of leaning to a flank, he plays forward in the Striker position, and behind as a Central Midfielder.

Finally, we have the anomalous Lan Mandragoran, who is primarily a Central Defender, and can play in the Central Defensive Midfield, but can also play as a Striker in a pinch. Something about aerial proficiency fares well in either box I suppose!

Definitely some great prospects in this draft class. Is it too early to call it the best of all time?
