Fry slides into Season 23
#1
Once again - Fry is late.  Late to the bus on the way to the match - against which team?  He does not know.  Still with his TPE unallocated, the basket overflowing with 100+ points.  Has he chosen a new trait?  a new position?  Again the answer is no.  To be honest, if you asked him if he remembered his Slurm Plus... the answer is no.  Fry is unprepared.

Stumbling onto the pitch, barely getting his laces tied, he looks up and the opponent is... green?  Wipes his eyes a bit.  Oh God, it's Hollywood.  Nemesis?  Probably not.  Rivals?  If only.  Hollywood has used Catalunya as speed bumps in the past few seasons.  Better get a beverage to be hydrated for this match.

Martell puts Hollywood up 0-1 on an amazingly poor bounce.  De Trella has the opportunity, but just didn't make the right play.  Unfortunate.

Nonetheless, Fry is performing adequately in the first half.  6.5 is a solid rate, but really Fry wants to be at 7+.

Unfortunately, today is not that day.  The coaches cut the laces off his boots and sent him to the showers early, favoring Varnson to complete the match.  At least this will give us a chance to find a proper beverage having been subbed off.

Catalunya wanders around like a chicken with their head cut off in the second half.  Fry's leadership is gone, the passes are errant.  It's going to take something, but Martell puts the second goal in for 0-2... but VAR disallows it.  It would seem they received our gift of Banana Liqueuer.

Bonito is going to have to step up and get something done in the last 15 minutes.

But Martell is there... this time is surely must be 0-2.  Has no one found the opportunity to break his leg in three places yet?

0-2 is our final score.  Has our management found the path yet?  The answer, as with many answers in this story, is No.
