Wrapping up the regular season for Rova
#1
With only 5 games left in the regular season CS Rova Mpanjaka only needs 2 point in their final 5 games to lock a spot in the top 6 and be ensured being in the top half of the minors when the divisions split next season. I am going to look into the minors a bit here and show just how impressive that is for us.

We will start with team TPE totals listed by current standings with everyones records.

Paris has a team total of 12,179 TPE - They are 14/0/3 with 42 points
Kaapstad has a team total of 11,983 TPE - They are 12/1/4 with 37 points
Rova  has a team total of 9,781 TPE - We are 12/1/4  with 37 points
Masques  has a team total of 8,560 TPE - They are 10/0/7  with 30 points
Krung Thep  has a team total of 9,724 TPE - They are 9/2/6  with 29 points
Montreal has a team total of 9,974 TPE - They are 7/3/7  with 24 points
Seoul has a team total of 12,283 TPE - They are 6/5/6  with 23 points
Magyar has a team total of 9,972 TPE - They are 6/3/8  with 21 points
North Shore has a team total of 10,838 TPE - They are 6/3/8  with 21 points
London has a team total of 8,778 TPE - They are 6/2/9  with 20 points
Cairo  has a team total of 8,523 TPE - They are 1/2/14  with 5 points
Athenai has a team total of 7,832 TPE - They are 1/2/14  with 5 points

As you can see there are a couple surprises when you look strictly based off of TPE numbers. One might expect Seoul and North shore to be near the top of the table instead of fighting for their lives as far as finishing in the top 6.

On the flip side Rova, Masques, and Krung Thep should likely be down point wise further then they are and trying like hell to get into the upper division.

The other impressive thing to me is the goal differential Paris blows everyone out of the water with a +46 GD. After that it is Kaapstad with +37
Rova has only a +13 GD which with our record being the same as Kaapstad shows we know how to win close games and have the correct people in positions to help us do that. Our goalie Rean Schwarzer has 6 clean sheets to this point which is tied for the league lead.

Rova also has spread the love around the roster a good bit on offense. We have 9 different players that have scored a goal. Our striker Tank Denstro leads the team with 13, but our attacking midfielders have chipped in a ton. Orla has 8, Smalls has 7, and newcomer this season Schuurmans has 5.

All in all we have competed against teams with better rosters, but have held our own and then some. I am so excited for the future of Liffeyside as these players all grow and eventually graduate to help out our major league squad.
